Journey into Triathlon

Aishwarya’s triathlon journey began unexpectedly while working at Goldman Sachs. Running started as a fitness hobby but soon became a passion. Inspired by a friend’s Ironman 70.3 Goa finish in 2019, she took on the challenge herself. In just 1.5 years, she completed seven Ironman 70.3 races, rapidly becoming one of India’s fastest triathletes with science-backed training.

Balancing Three Disciplines

Triathlon is about balance and self-discovery. Swimming came naturally, cycling reignited childhood joy, and running gained meaning through triathlon. After winning bronze at the National Open Sprint Distance Triathlon, she shifted focus to Ironman races due to challenges in India’s triathlon scene. Volunteering at Ironman 70.3 Goa in 2022 was a turning point, leading her to race in Vietnam in honor of her late father.

Global Training Exposure

Training in India built resilience, while Thailand’s elite facilities pushed her limits. Europe’s fitness culture broadened her perspective, reinforced by time in Australia. These experiences shaped her long-term approach, focusing on health and continuous improvement over race results.

Mental Strength & Motivation

Aishwarya prioritizes consistency over perfection, adapting to unpredictable race conditions. A key strategy is dedicating each race kilometer to someone meaningful, fueling her determination. Meditation, journaling, and therapy help maintain mental resilience.
